TacticID Mobile is an economical, ergonomic, 1,064nm handheld Raman spectrometer that includes a targeted library for rapid, non-destructive identification of narcotics, hazardous chemicals, and other suspect substances. Designed for easy on-site operation by safety personnel, samples can be quickly and directly scanned through a transparent container, with identification results clearly displayed on a large, bright, high-resolution touch screen.
TacticID Mobile uses Raman spectroscopy to measure the molecular fingerprint of samples, which are identified by built-in spectral libraries for drugs, precursors, toxic chemicals, common chemicals, pharmaceuticals, explosives and more. TacticID Mobile 1,064nm excitation laser allows users to identify difficult street samples, colored samples, and samples with impurities with minimal interference from fluorescence. The system can be operated with a touchscreen and hard-button interface that can be used even when wearing protective equipment. The system has a compact design with rugged IP68 rubber protection and passes MIL-STD-810H drop testing.
Detailed information can be added to each scan, including images, geotagging, notes, and other identifying information, creating a comprehensive report that brings together all relevant information in one document. Libraries and customizations created by users are also available.
