■Summary

Titland is available in a variety of types to suit different applications, including a high-performance type that can perform coulometric and capacitance methods in one unit. Automatic sample pretreatment such as sample crushing and continuous measurement of multiple samples are also possible, and the lids of sample containers on the rack can be opened and closed automatically. Fully compliant with FDA 21 CFR Par11.

The KF Titland system includes both volumetric and coulometric Karl Fischer titrators to handle any water content in your sample, from trace amounts to nearly 100%. A wide range of options are available, including connection to a sample changer with a moisture vaporizer and automatic pretreatment such as crushing, making analytical work more efficient and safer.

■Others

The 860 KF Thermoprep is used for thermal sample preparation in Karl Fischer moisture measurements. Many substances are not suitable for direct Karl Fischer titration because they are insoluble, they react with Karl Fischer reagents, or the water in the substance itself evaporates very slowly or only at high temperatures. Not yet. Samples are placed in the oven using tightly sealed sample vials and then measured by respective capacitive or coulometric Karl Fischer moisture meters.
