About This Product

■Summary

Metrohm's automatic titrator can directly measure (titrate) various types of anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants using dedicated electrodes, making it easy to analyze surfactants without the need for special pretreatment. You can do it. This is an application exclusive to Metrohm.

■Features

Directly quantify surfactant using a dedicated electrode. Using Metrohm's surfactant measurement electrodes, you can easily measure the concentration of anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants by titration. No complicated and time-consuming preprocessing is required. It is also widely used for quality control and research and development of products containing surfactants, such as detergents, shampoos, and mouthwashes. Anyone can quickly and easily perform a test to check if there is any detergent left after washing the product by performing titration using an electrode dedicated to measuring surfactants. ・Metrohm's exclusive surfactant electrode ・Anionic surfactant measurement without using chloroform ・Continuous automatic measurement by connecting a sample changer ・Measurement in organic solvents (non-aqueous) is also possible - Regular titration (neutralization titration and precipitation titration) is also possible by changing the electrode.

■Metrohm's exclusive electrode for surfactant measurement

There are five types of Metrohm surfactant electrodes: ・Ionic surfactant electrode: Anionic surfactant can be measured without using chloroform. ・Cationic surfactant electrode: Electrode for measuring cationic surfactants. Outstanding electrode reaction characteristics due to immobilization of ionophore. ・NIO electrode: Electrode for measuring nonionic surfactants ・Surfactant load didestant electrode: For measuring anions and cationic surfactants in organic solvents (non-aqueous). ・Surfactant load refill electrode: Electrode for measuring anions and cations in organic solvents (non-aqueous). By using refilling paste and always using a new electrode film, measurements can be performed stably over a long period of time without worrying about deterioration.
