About This Product

Airtight packing/airtight packing for foundations. A foam base material with a closed cell structure that has high sealing properties (watertightness and airtightness). Transparent film makes positioning easy

■Main features

・Extremely high airtight performance (50x UP) ・Flame retardant ・Excellent weather resistance ・Excellent workability, significantly shortening work time

■Base airtight packing

・Because it has a closed cell structure and is highly flexible, it has good ability to follow joint variations (changes) and exhibits high airtightness. ・Since the moisture-proof film laminated with NorSeal is transparent, the bolts on the foundation can be visually confirmed, making positioning easy and providing excellent workability.

■Excellent airtight performance

There is a risk of gaps forming in joint areas such as around windows and around foundations due to drying shrinkage of the wood and foundation and unevenness of the top of the foundation, and areas where gaps occur will be in a lower compression state than other areas. Masu. Since Norseal is PVC with a closed cell structure, there is almost no change in airtightness even under low compression compared to EPDM, which is often used for airtight packing. Therefore, it is possible to maintain airtightness with low ventilation even in areas where unevenness or dry shrinkage has occurred.

■Highly airtight sash opening frame

■High airtightness between the foundation and joistless plywood

・Paste Norseal on the indoor side upper surface of the outer periphery base. ・Check to see if there is any peeling of the Norseal. ・Do nail driving ・Remove the release paper from Norseal and install the joist-less plywood.
