About This Product

High performance glass wool without moisture barrier. *Separate construction of a moisture barrier layer is required. Recommended for homes seeking higher insulation, airtightness, and comfort. ■Main features ・Thermal conductivity 0.032[W/ (m・K) ] (36KHG) , 0.033[W/ (m・K) ] (28KHG) , 0.035[W/ (m・K) ] (24KHG) , 0.038[W/ (m・K) ] (16KHG) available ・Easy construction due to less deflection and independence ・Water repellent treatment applied to each fiber - Significantly reduced the amount of fiber scattering, reducing the burden during construction. - Obtained noncombustible material NM4596 (2) certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. ・High performance product ・Non-formaldehyde products ■Three friendliness ・Constructor-friendly: (1) Minimizes fiber scattering, (2) Flexible fibers, (3) Firm fiber clumps ・Friendly for residents: (1) Higher insulation performance, (2) Safe air quality, (3) High sound absorption ・Friendly for future generations: (1) Environmentally friendly raw materials, (2) Effective use of resources, (3) Lasting insulation properties ■Moisture-proof material We recommend using a moisture-proof film that complies with JISA6930 (Plastic moisture-proof film for residential use), or one that has moisture resistance, strength, and durability equivalent to or higher than this. The moisture barrier material is attached to the base material using tacker nails or double-sided adhesive tape. Fasten the moisture-proof material joints to the base material with tacker nails along the joints at intervals of about 200 to 300 mm. ■Joint treatment between moisture-proof materials For both vertical and horizontal joints, overlap them by at least 30 mm in the area where the base material is located. The joint part is held down with facing material such as plywood or gypsum board, or dry wood such as the rim. If overlapping is not possible due to the underlying area, secure the joints with airtight tape. ■Processing of moisture-proof material and other components When fastening to other materials such as structures or plywood, overlap them by at least 30mm. Press down the overlapped parts with facing material such as plywood or gypsum board, or dry wood such as the torso. If it is not possible to secure an overlapping area of 30 mm or more, or if it is not possible to press down with surface material or wood, secure with airtight tape.
