Electric winch with stainless steel drum. Prevents drum corrosion and strength loss. Winch cargo handling operations include towing substitute vessels, opening and closing water gates and dust removers, lifting and lowering underwater equipment, and moving objects on and under water.
During such work, the steel winch drum will rust due to moisture adhering to the wire rope, reducing the strength of the metal and posing a safety issue. However, it is recommended that the winch drum be made of stainless steel. It is possible to avoid such risks before they occur.
