About This Product

The QPix Microbial Colony Picker is an advanced automated system designed for high-throughput selection and picking of microbial colonies. Streamline the clone screening process and eliminate manual colony picking. The QPix 420 has a small footprint and is designed to automate colony picking. Ideal system for replacing manual picking with automated picking, allowing for flexible bed setup and use of laboratory equipment.

■Automatic microbial screening system that can pick up to 3,000 colonies per hour

The QPix™ 400 Series Microbial Colony Picker offers a unique option to simultaneously perform colony detection and fluorescent marker quantification during the pre-pick screening stage. More than 600 Molecular Devices QPix systems are installed in research institutions, sequencing facilities, biotech companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc. around the world. QPix system robotics became renowned for reliability and accuracy in sequencing facilities during the Human Genome Project.
