About This Product

■Overview of StakMax microplate processing system

The StakMax® Microplate Handling System is a powerful and compact benchtop microplate stacker that works seamlessly with Molecular Devices microplate readers and washers for improved process flow and high throughput. The system includes one plate loading adapter with a choice of 20, 40 or 50 SBS standard 96-well and 384-well microplate magazines and barcode reading. All integration tools provided can be easily configured for each configuration. Features of the StakMax Microplate Handling System

■Easy setup

The stacker is programmed through SoftMax® Pro software and is easy to set up using preconfigured automation scripts. AquaMax® washer users can access all commands through the washer's programming touchscreen.

■Creating custom automation scripts

Use custom script commands to set instrumentation temperatures, open and run previously created protocols, load and return plates, restack or cycle plates, enable plate shaking, and change barcode values. Record, set filenames, add repeat loops, save files, and more.

■Enable barcode identification

A barcode reader can be added to enable plate barcode identification when integrated with SpectraMax® microplate readers.
