About This Product

Snow accumulation is detected by emitting ultrasonic pulses from a transducer toward the snow surface and measuring the airborne propagation time of the reflected waves. The air propagation speed of ultrasonic waves changes depending on the atmospheric temperature, so a sound speed correction device measures the air temperature to obtain highly accurate data.

■Features・Measurement can be performed without contact.
- Acoustic matching (patented) allows ultrasonic waves to be emitted with less loss, making them less susceptible to wind, snow, etc.
- Upper and lower limit alarms, power outage signals, and measurement error signals are output.
・After installation, you can start measuring immediately by inputting the measurement length and zero point.
・It is possible to obtain the Japan Meteorological Agency certification.
