About This Product
A melt indexer is a device that measures melt index (MI value), such as melt mass flow rate (MFR) and melt volume flow rate (MVR), according to JIS K7210. Dynisco LMI5500 Melt Indexer is based on the technology cultivated through many years of experience and achievements, and has added measurement options for the new MFR measurement standards ISO-1133-2 and JIS K7210-2, making it easier to operate than conventional products. This is a tabletop MFR (MI value) measuring device/MFR meter with improved ease of use for users such as visibility of test results.
It is widely used around the world as an effective means of quality control in resin inspection departments, laboratories, molding sites, etc. We also offer an online rheometer that can carry out continuous and automatic online measurements similar to this MFR (MI value) measuring device.

・Highly accurate temperature control by PID control (±0.1℃)
・PET MFR (MI value) → Intrinsic viscosity (IV value) conversion function
・Gravity acceleration correction function
・Mirror type sample plate (improved visibility when cutting samples)
■Uses a color touch panel with good visibility and operability.
Test conditions can be set and results can be checked using operations similar to smartphones.
