About This Product

■Summary

The piezo shaker system has a portable design for non-destructive testing and vibration measurement. And experiments below 50kHz are possible. The module is configured with predetermined excitation forces. The vacuum cup can be quickly and easily attached to the object being measured.

■Measurement principle

Dynamic excitation of buildings in combination with shearography is a special technology for non-destructive testing that has been developed by isi-sys. A small portable piezo shaker can provide extra stimulation to defects such as cracks, bad adhesion, and poor connections. Sweeping the excitation frequency for a few seconds can highlight these defects.

■Piezo shaker

Piezo shakers are available in a wide range of frequencies. (0-100kHz) For small test objects such as electrical parts or for NDT, it can be easily attached to the surface of the test object using a vacuum cup. The module can be calibrated by predetermined excitation forces.

■Amplifier and function generation

A piezo shaker is a high voltage device that requires special high frequency and high voltage amplifiers for NDT. The dual-channel, bipolar amplifier HVA-B100/2 has been specially developed for NDT applications. The excitation frequency is generated by a generator (USB or PCI) that is automatically controlled by a software module.
