About This Product

■Summary

The digital 2D correlation system VIC-2D can perform two-dimensional (in-plane direction) non-contact, non-destructive measurement of deformation and strain analysis of materials and parts over the entire field of view. The system uses a single high-resolution digital camera to record the deformation of the surface of the object to be measured at video rate, and uses the image correlation method to output deformation and strain from the recorded images. Although it cannot be applied to samples that have a three-dimensional shape or undergo three-dimensional deformation, it can be easily applied to flat shapes and tests using a tensile tester.
