Precision tabletop 4-axis robot RAP4 customized robot type is a tabletop 4-axis robot that adds a rotary axis to the RAP3 standard type that drives the XYZ axes (3 axes). This is a 4-axis processing machine (desktop NC) that can easily perform modeling processing using 3D data even though it is a tabletop model. Customization is possible to meet all customer requests and specifications.

■4-axis control of XYZ-axis + A-axis (rotation axis) Backlash-free harmonic gear rotation mechanism

The RAP4 customized robot type is a tabletop 4-axis robot that adds a rotary axis to the RAP3 standard type that drives the XYZ axes (3 axes). Drives the tool in the XZ-axis direction and the workpiece in the YA-axis.

■Equipped with closed loop control stepping motor

This type, which is mainly used for modeling 3D data to process fine movement pitches without stopping time, uses a stepping motor, which is better at repeating positioning over a shorter distance and in a shorter time than an AC servo motor. The installed stepping motor monitors its rotation with a sensor and performs closed-loop control, enabling high-precision machining without step-out.

■DNC operation ideal for processing large volumes of 3D data is possible

You can process large amounts of processing data continuously while downloading it from your computer. It multitasks data transfer, data analysis, and driving without depending on the memory in the controller and without interruption in data download.

■With tool length correction mechanism

High-precision latch function automatically measures and compensates tool height during tool changes. This function eliminates the need for troublesome tool height adjustments every time a tool is replaced.
