About This Product

■Product introduction

Proteosave® SS is a product that uses a uniquely developed photo-crosslinked superhydrophilic polymer to make the inside of the plastic container hydrophilic, effectively suppressing non-specific adsorption of proteins and peptides. Features

■Reducing loss during concentration adjustment and storage of valuable samples (proteins, peptides, low-molecular compounds, etc.)

By creating a hydrophilic surface through uniform surface treatment of photo-crosslinked superhydrophilic polymers, non-specific adsorption of proteins and peptides is suppressed and sample loss is reduced. Since the base material and polymer are chemically bonded, there is no need to worry about the polymer leaching out of the container.

■Significantly improved organic solvent resistance and heat resistance

Coatings that form covalent bonds with the base material through photocrosslinking also maintain organic solvent resistance and heat resistance, which were difficult to achieve with conventional coatings. Purpose Drug discovery research/bio research

■Protein extraction sample preparation/storage container

By using Proteosave® SS, extracted proteins can be handled with minimal denaturation and the recovery rate is improved. Even if the experiment period is unavoidably longer, storage at -80℃ is possible, and the recovery rate remains unchanged even after long-term storage.

■Protein purification Purification container/chromatography fraction collector

Proteosave® SS acts as a fraction collector during purification to prevent protein denaturation, inactivation, and loss, and is also effective as a storage container for highly purified valuable samples.

■Protein quantification Sample preparation/reaction vessel

Proteosave® SS prevents changes in sample concentration and improves the reliability of quantitative results.

■Protein Analysis Sample Preparation/Reaction Vessel/Chromatography Fraction Collector

By using Proteosave® SS, samples can be analyzed in their native state without adding any additives. In addition, enzymes stored in Proteosave® SS can maintain their activity well, making it effective as a storage, preparation, and reaction vessel for enzymes such as protease.
