About This Product

■Product introductionSUMILITE® VSL series is a highly moisture-proof sheet made of a composite of hard vinyl chloride single layer sheet (SUMILITE® VSS) and vinylidene chloride.

Features
■Water vapor barrier property・Sumilite® VSL series has the highest level of water vapor barrier properties for plastics and is used as packaging materials for pharmaceutical products that require moisture resistance, such as capsule formulations, non-pyrine painkillers, and antibiotics.
・In recent years, there has been a growing demand for long-term quality assurance at the primary packaging stage, such as displaying the expiry date of pharmaceutical products, and the "Sumilight® VSL" series has been designed to proactively respond to these advanced social needs. Its role as a packaging material is highly valued.

■Oxygen permeabilitySUMILITE® VSL series is a composite sheet of vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride. Vinylidene chloride has excellent barrier properties against oxygen as well as water vapor, and can be used for highly moisture-proof and oxygen barrier applications.
