About This Product

■Product introductionThe "Sumilite® VSS" series is a rigid vinyl chloride single-layer sheet produced under strict control for PTP packaging materials for pharmaceuticals.

Features
■Excellent hygieneFor the "Sumilite® VSS" series, we were the first in the world to establish a formulation as a non-plasticized rigid vinyl chloride sheet that complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards. Since then, it has been widely used as a PTP packaging material both domestically and internationally.

■Production under controlled environmentThe "Sumilite® VSS" series is manufactured under strict control in accordance with GMP principles using Sumitomo Bakelite's state-of-the-art calendar equipment. We have a wide range of products with various added functions such as moisture proofing and blocking, and have received high praise for meeting the various needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers.

■UV protection, visible light protectionThe "Sumilight® VSS-UV" series is a non-plastic rigid vinyl chloride sheet that has a light blocking function to prevent discoloration and deterioration of pharmaceutical products due to ultraviolet rays and visible light. There are transparent series and colored series depending on the absorption wavelength.

■Sheet type of “Sumilite® VSS”The "Sumilite® VSS" series has types called "R", "Non-R", "C", and "E" within the same product number in order to be compatible with each PTP molding machine.

■About the fine grade of “Sumilite® VSS”In the "Sumilite® VSS" series, we have launched a fine grade product by improving the formulation while maintaining its traditional characteristic of "excellent hygiene."
