About This Product

Product introduction
■ Highly heat-resistant plastic that does not slip or meltThis is a phenolic resin molding material that has excellent sliding properties with a low coefficient of friction by combining a high proportion of graphite. Due to its heat resistance, which does not melt even at temperatures above 300°C, and its excellent chemical resistance, it has been used in automotive applications, and can also be injection molded, giving it a high degree of freedom in shape and being effective in reducing costs. Phenolic resins can contain 50% or more of inorganic fillers such as graphite, so they can be given filler characteristics.

■Positioning of materials・Highly sliding phenolic resin melts during molding and becomes a cured product through crosslinking reaction, and does not melt during use.
・A material that can be molded to provide both flexibility in shape and heat resistance.

Technical data
■Sliding characteristics・Test in which a metal ring (S45C) is placed on a resin plate and rotated while applying surface pressure.
・PEEK used in sliding parts adheres as the surface pressure increases, increasing frictional resistance.
・Our highly slidable molding materials maintain high slidability even at high temperatures.
