About This Product

Product overview

■Thermosetting elastomer using only non-edible biomass as raw material

・A solvent-free liquid type thermosetting elastomer made from 100% non-edible biomass. ・No gas is generated during heat curing, and after curing, it exhibits unique physical properties such as stable viscoelasticity from -50°C to 300°C and thermal decomposition resistance up to 250°C.

■Assumed use

・It is expected to be used as a binder for various products such as FRP, prepreg, paint, and ceramics. ・Also, since it can be diluted with a solvent, it can also be used for impregnating and reinforcing paper and fibers. Product lineup

■Developed product PR-X22199 (soft rubber type)

・Soft rubber derived from 100% non-edible biomass ・Low hardness type heat stable biomass rubber. - It has thermal decomposition resistance up to 250℃, but when thermally decomposed at higher temperatures, no residue such as tar-like decomposition products (tar or soot) is generated.
