■Specially designed for lithium-ion battery packsAVD Fire, a division of Dupre Minerals, has developed a new series of high-performance, versatile lithium-ion battery fire blankets (“blankets”) designed specifically for fighting fires in equipment containing lithium-ion batteries. did. Our blankets are ruggedly constructed to withstand extremely high temperatures in oxidizing atmospheres for long periods of time, and provide adequate protection against flying debris and debris during a battery fire.

■Technical advantagesAVD Fire series blankets are manufactured using the highest heat resistant silica glass fiber based fireproof technology fabric. These fibers use a variety of proprietary surface coatings to provide added abrasion resistance and flame deflection protection. It is made of glass fiber coated with a non-flammable vermiculite dusting agent and covered with a sacrificial protective silicone layer. We have completed in-house testing of exposed lithium-ion batteries up to 840Wh.

■1000℃The dough will not burst even after being heated over a fire or in a constant temperature oven for several hours.

■1200℃The dough will not burst after 30 minutes.

■1300-1500℃After 10 minutes the dough will be brittle.

The base fabric is fully oxidized and will not catch fire. Prolonged exposure to temperatures above the specified service temperature will cause the fabric to deteriorate locally and become brittle. These blankets can be used multiple times.
