■What is flexographic printing?Environmentally and human-friendly printing with extremely low organic solvent content. A type of letterpress printing that uses elastic materials such as synthetic resin for the plate. It is used in a wide range of printing applications such as paper, film, and cloth.

■Characteristics of flexo printingThere are a wide range of ink options available, including alcohol inks, water-based inks, and UV inks, with water-based inks being said to be the most environmentally friendly. Anilox rolls are used to supply ink to the plate, and the amount of transfer can be easily adjusted by replacing the rolls.

Additionally, because it is letterpress printing, the amount of ink applied is small. In addition, since a plate with elasticity is used, it is possible to obtain good, high-density printing even on printing materials with low smoothness.

What super bags can be made with flexo printing
■Water-based printing ink and labelingWater-based flexo printing, which contains extremely low amounts of VOCs, allows us to provide products that are kind to the environment and people. Our factory uses water-based ink for almost all printing, and we are moving forward with the introduction of water-based biomass ink that uses plant-derived raw materials. Therefore, you can label your packages with various marks, including our original water-based ink mark.

■Improving the efficiency of the printing processInk color matching system: Our color matching system uses CCM (Computer Color Matching) and automatic blending equipment to quickly create accurate spot color inks.
Automatic flexographic plate pasting equipment: The flexographic plate pasting equipment introduced in January 2022 has significantly improved registration accuracy and pasting speed, making printing changeover even faster.
