About This Product

■IP68 waterproof, able to withstand water depths of 1 meter for 24 hours, supporting communications in Japan, a country prone to flooding.

This is an IP68 highly waterproof plastic box that can withstand being submerged in water at a depth of 1 meter for 24 hours. The waterproof gasket is made of silicone and has a structure that firmly secures the outer periphery of the box with multiple screws from the back, achieving stable and high waterproofness.

■Made of ASA resin that resists UV deterioration and discoloration.

Made of ASA resin, which has excellent weather resistance and is resistant to deterioration and discoloration due to UV rays. Ideal for communication equipment installed outdoors in sunlight. *Weather resistance refers to the property of polymeric materials such as plastics and paints that resist deformation, discoloration, deterioration, and other changes when used outdoors.

■Fall-prevention screws that are easy to maintain

The design has a clean appearance, so it can be installed anywhere, both indoors and outdoors. By installing an optional terminal block, it can also be used as a relay box/junction box. The cover mounting screw uses a fall prevention type sleeve screw. There is no problem of falling or losing screws during maintenance. When installing for the first time, screw the tapping screw into the hole on the body side.

■Optional terminal block can be installed without drilling holes or DIN rail.

The optional relay terminal block WTB series can be directly installed on the mounting boss (protrusion with hole) inside the WG series. It can be used not only for communication equipment but also as a highly reliable wiring relay box.
