About This Product

■What is a roof shade?

Folded metal roofs are common in factories and warehouses, but one major disadvantage is that they accumulate heat from sunlight in the summer. In midsummer, the surface temperature of folded-plate roofs can reach up to 70 to 80 degrees Celsius, which is a major factor in the rise in indoor temperatures. The heat transmitted through the roof causes the room temperature to rise, causing various problems such as heatstroke in factories, soaring electricity bills, and air conditioning not working. The solution to these problems is the [roof shade]. By covering the top surface of a metal folded-plate roof with a shade sheet [roof screen] that has an extremely high heat-shielding effect, the surface temperature of the roof can be reduced by up to 25 to 26 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, compared to other construction methods, it has achieved ``low cost, short construction time, and excellent durability''. In recognition of this advanced environmental conservation effect, we received the Gold Ecotech Award (selected for the Osaka Prefecture Environmental Technology Evaluation Dissemination Promotion Project) and obtained a construction method patent. ■High reflective performance of roof screen with heat shielding effect

It strongly reflects sunlight and does not accumulate heat. 　　

■ [Air layer between roof and roof screen] structure that reduces heat conduction

By arranging the fabric in a zigzag pattern, hot air is expelled without stopping the flow of air. Additionally, the presence of an air layer between the roof and the fabric reduces heat transfer.

■Low number of parts

The only parts required are the screen and fixing hardware. We have simplified estimates and construction.

■Do not use power tools

Construction is performed using a special caulking machine, so no power source is required for the work. There is almost no noise during construction work.

■Walking possible after construction

It has the strength to withstand approximately 1 meter of snowfall, and maintenance work after construction is easy. [Notes] Roof shades can only be installed on folded plate roofs.
