About This Product

■What is DuPont Tyvek?

DuPont Tyvek, which is used as the material for Slim White, is a sheet (non-woven fabric) made by applying high heat to bond ultra-fine long polyethylene fibers of 0.5 to 10 microns. It is highly water resistant, has both moisture permeability and breathability, and is extremely durable.

■The key factors for lowering the temperature are high reflectance and low heat absorption.

Compared to aluminum vapor-deposited films and kneaded films, which are said to have excellent heat shielding properties, DuPont Tyvek's reflectance is considerably higher. The absorption rate is almost zero, so there is almost no heat accumulation in the sheet even when exposed to sunlight. These excellent heat shielding properties suppress the rise in temperature during high temperatures during the day, and retain heat at night without escaping. Slim White is made using DuPont Tyvek, which boasts an amazing heat-shielding effect, as the base material. Because it absorbs less heat than other materials, it significantly reduces the temperature rise inside the greenhouse. As a result, the hot and humid summer house has been transformed into a ``refreshing space'', and the dimness that is common with other light blocking materials has also been resolved. In addition, DuPont Tyvek (tape part) has a light reflectance of over 90% and has a repellent effect due to scattered light, making it effective in reducing the invasion of pests such as thrips when used on the house side. .
