■Features
・"JIS A 6111" for moisture-permeable waterproof sheets has been revised, and moisture-permeable waterproof sheets for roofs (moisture-permeable roofing) have been added to the list.
・This new JIS A 6111:2016 has determined the evaluation of moisture-permeable roofing's ``reliability of waterproofing'' and ``certainty of moisture permeability,'' and ``Thermal Insulating Roof Airtex'' has cleared the performance requirements. (Cleared durability test equivalent to 50 years)
- As before, it has excellent slip resistance and is approximately one-third the weight of asphalt roofing materials. (11.5kg/40m roll)
・Please use "Heat Insulating Roof Airtex" for roof insulation.
■When using moisture-permeable roofing
By using a moisture-permeable roofing that has a moisture-permeable function, moisture can be removed from the roof, preventing wood from rotting, keeping it in a comfortable condition, and extending the life of the roof.
■Heat insulation
Reduces the temperature on the back side of the field board by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius. Assuming midsummer, we conducted an experiment using thermography to compare the temperature changes when constructing a heat shielding roof, Airtex, and when constructing a commonly used asphalt roofing.
■Workability
It is non-slip and lightweight, which improves workability. Thermal insulation roof Airtex has excellent slip resistance and is approximately one-third lighter than asphalt roofing (11.5kg/40m roll). Workability has also been significantly improved.
