■Drainage function added to Tyvek R house wrap
Tyvek R Drain Wrap is a moisture-permeable and waterproof sheet with a drainage function that is ideal for horizontal edging and exterior insulation construction methods, with the addition of a drainage function to Tyvek R House Wrap. The wrinkled surface promotes drainage even when the torso or urethane foam is in close contact.
■Outstanding durability and reliable 20-year warranty
DuPont Tyvek R is the first in the industry to offer a 20-year warranty, and we guarantee the physical properties listed on the right regarding waterproofness for 20 years. Tyvek R boasts a 30-year track record since its launch in Japan, and has been subjected to numerous actual building sampling tests and 30 years' worth of durability tests, so you can rest assured with a 20-year warranty.
*However, the above warranty shall not exceed 21 years from the date of product manufacture.
■Waterproof 8kPa or more (test method JIS L 1092)
-Applicable to products manufactured after January 2013.
・This value is the waterproof performance required after 10 years according to the JIS standard for moisture permeable and waterproof sheets.
■On the side edges of the torso (for vertical siding)
We poured colored water into the Tyvek R drain wrap installed on the side edges of the torso and checked the drainage status.
■Improving the durability of externally insulated houses
It can be used to ensure waterproofing during construction and as a secondary and tertiary waterproof layer. Sandwich each sheet between two acrylic plates, pour in colored water, and check the drainage status.
