Product uses and main features

■Applications

・Cement-based post-foaming (*1) type filler. ・Filling of cavities below the surface, filling of cavities due to ground subsidence, filling of special underground trenches and abandoned mines, filling of cavities on the back of tunnels and underground shielding works, filling of pipes for lifelines, etc., filling of roads and river bank embankments, and behind ports and river facilities. It can be used for a variety of filling projects, including filling and disaster recovery materials. *1 Post-foaming refers to foaming and volumetric expansion after pouring.

■Features

- Immediately after mixing, thermocon has high fluidity, with little loss during pumping and injection, and can flow into narrow gaps after casting. ・Since the volume expands 1.4 to 2.0 times after injection, it can fill even complex-shaped voids without gaps. ・The amount of kneading and pressure feeding can be significantly reduced. ・The hardened thermo-con is lightened by fine air bubbles with a diameter of 0.5 to 1.0 mm, so it can reduce earth pressure and load loads.

■High liquidity

Post-foaming type thermo-con does not contain air bubbles at the time of pouring. Immediately after kneading, the thermoconslurry has a low viscosity, so there is little pressure loss, the pumping distance can be extended, and it easily flows into narrow spaces during filling.

■High expansion rate

Thermocon expands to approximately 1.5 to 2.0 times the volume of the kneaded slurry through foaming. In other words, the volume for kneading, pressure feeding, and pouring can be 50% to 67% of the filling volume. Therefore, it is possible to shorten the construction period and reduce the scale of equipment. Note) The expansion rate varies depending on the design strength, etc.

■High fillability

Thermocon slurry, which has high fluidity, can easily flow into voids with complex cross sections, and because it is a post-foaming type, the slurry expands in volume within the voids and fills them to the top of the voids without any gaps. It's possible.

■High liquidity

If Thermocon is manufactured locally, it can be mixed with a general-purpose grout mixer. Since no special equipment is required, equipment costs can be reduced. Furthermore, since a general-purpose grout mixer can be manufactured, it can be used with equipment depending on the scale of the construction work. There is also a method of supplying by mixer truck, which can significantly reduce on-site work.
