About This Product

These are human iPS cell-derived glutamatergic neurons and GABAergic neurons created using a special direct reprogramming technology developed at Stanford University. It is suitable for drug discovery and development including in vitro neurological disease model creation and compound screening, non-clinical testing, CNS safety evaluation/neurotoxicity evaluation, etc.

■Features

・Suitable as a substitute for human primary nerve cells, which are extremely difficult to obtain. ・Can be used immediately with differentiated cells. - Retains the properties of human nerve cells. ・Since it is created using reprogramming technology, variation in subtypes between lots is minimal and high reproducibility is achieved. ・Co-culture (co-culture kit only) is possible by changing the cell mixing ratio. ・Each kit and medium kit includes seeding, short-term and long-term medium, and supplements. *For first-time users, please be sure to select the kit (includes astrocytes and special culture medium). *The reagents listed in this catalog are for research use only.
