■Features
・Specimen storage container containing a special solution (US Patent No. 9,138,205) that stabilizes collected cells for a long period of time.
-The internal solution does not contain alcohol or toxic substances, is harmless and safe, and can be sent by regular mail. (*The iSWAB containing the sample must be transported in accordance with regulations.)
・It is safe and easy to use because the sample is collected with a sterile cotton swab or swab. (We recommend a cotton swab or swab with a diameter of 4 mm or less. *This product does not include a cotton swab.)
- iSWAB containing a specimen can be stored for long periods at room temperature, and DNA can be analyzed using the analysis method of each testing institution.
- Equipped with LIMS-compatible barcodes for efficient tracking and storage.
・Elutes DNA from cells and maintains sample information with high accuracy.
・After purification, it is possible to extract 2 to 30 μg double-stranded DNA with a length of 40 kb or more.
*Quality retention period: 36 months after manufacture.
