About This Product

A locking fastener that can also be used in tapped holes. It has a special thread shape that bites into the female thread, increasing resistance and making it difficult to loosen. It is possible to instantly change the current fastening method to a fastening method with a locking function.

■Main uses

■Low screwing torque

Since it has 3 to 4 flutes that are unidirectional with respect to the direction of screw rotation, the resistance force in the screw direction is reduced and it can be screwed in with low torque.

■Loosening prevention function

It has a unidirectional flute, and the edge of the flute bites in the direction of loosening of the screw, which prevents it from coming back. In addition, it has a thread shape with an even more acute-angled protrusion on top of the 60-degree thread, and this protrusion digs deeply into the mating material, providing a locking effect. The synergy between the unidirectional flute and the protrusions on the thread provides a greater locking effect.

■For light alloys that are concerned about loosening.

Suitable for use with light alloys such as aluminum alloy, aluminum die-cast, and magnesium.

■Effect

You can consider eliminating the use of conventional adhesives and locking agents. Contributes to cost reduction. You can expect a loosening prevention effect by changing only the bolts without any design changes.
