About This Product

Sinka® is a self-tapping screw designed specifically for thin steel plates that can be used even when the mating material is a thin steel plate of 0.3 mm. It can be tightened with about twice as high a torque as our conventional products, and is resistant to slipping and loosening even with thin plates. This eliminates the need for scrapping parts and burring, reducing manufacturing costs.

・Tapping fastening using a thin steel plate of about 0.3t to 0.8t as the mating material ・Preventing screws from slipping when fastening thin plates ・Used to eliminate burring process Product features

■Screw thread shape that prevents idling

It has a thread shape with two threads at the tip and four threads rolled to just below the neck. The double thread screw at the tip allows it to be stably inserted into the pilot hole of the thin plate, and the four-point spiral wraps around the thin plate just below the neck, making it possible to fasten with extremely high torque.

■Lead angle and pitch to improve workability

Thanks to the large lead angle, screwing can be completed in about half the time of conventional products. Contributes to comfortable work and improved productivity.

■Big cost reduction

Since there is no idling, the amount of scrapped parts is reduced. Since burring is no longer necessary, processing costs and parts storage costs are reduced. Screwing time is shortened and productivity is improved.
