About This Product

This technology challenges the conventional wisdom that tapping fasteners cannot be used for electrical assembly because they generate chips. This is the first fastening technology that has succeeded in significantly reducing the generation of chips, making it possible to use tap-pin fastening for the assembly of the ever-increasing number of electronic circuit boards and motorized parts, and greatly contributing to reducing the total cost of manufacturing in the future.

■Research on the mechanism of chip generation and implement countermeasures

Instead of thinking about how to prevent the chips that are naturally generated from scattering, as we have done up until now, we will analyze why chips are generated based on the conventional wear theory. This is the first technology to successfully suppress this phenomenon.

■Solution service that arranges the hardness difference between the mating material and the screw surface.

Chips are suppressed by maintaining a certain amount of difference in surface hardness between the mating material and the screw body. This is a solution service in which we arrange and provide surface treatment for screws according to the mating material.

■Low surface roughness due to advanced rolling technology

The extremely precise and advanced rolling technology that we have cultivated over our long history eliminates roughness on the thread surface. This has been surface treated to achieve low surface roughness. This reduces the burden on the mating material during screwing and suppresses the generation of chips.

■Can also be arranged into general shaped products

ClinTap is a newly developed self-tapping screw, but it can also be applied to general standard products and licensed products. It can also be used not only for tapping screws but also for machine screws.
