About This Product

Tapping screw for resin. It is a best-selling resin product that has a long history and extensive mass production experience, and is standardized and used by some domestic automobile manufacturers. When viewed from the tip, it has a jagged shape similar to a flower petal, and the resin springs back into this, making it extremely difficult to loosen.

■With flute that is resistant to loosening

The flutes are placed almost perpendicularly to the screw lead at positions that divide the circumference into three or four equal parts. This causes the threads to become jagged. After the screw is tightened, the resin springs back into this jagged pattern, making it extremely resistant to loosening.

■Low burden on resin

Due to the action of the flute, the stress on the resin during screwing is intermittent, reducing the burden on the resin. This prevents cracking and whitening of the resin boss.

■Forms a female thread that is hard to break.

The pitch of the thread is designed to be large so that as much of the soft resin as possible can be incorporated into the female thread. This increases the resistance of the female thread against pulling out, making it difficult for the female thread to break and enables stable fastening.

■Larger screw outer diameter

It has an oversized screw profile that is resistant to loosening.
