About This Product

This is a thread forming screw for resin mating material. Forms a female thread that fits tightly onto the male thread with almost no gaps. This improves the strength of the female thread, provides high axial force, and improves resistance to loosening due to friction. The well-formed female thread allows for good repeatability.

■Main uses

・I want to eliminate the insert nut and screw it directly into the pilot hole of the resin material, reducing the total cost. ・For fastenings that require high axial force and resistance to loosening, even when tapping. - When you want to increase productivity by tightening screws at high speed. ・For use with hard resins such as GF-40. ・For robotization (automation) of fastening. Product features

■Fastening structure calculated so that the female thread fits closely to the male thread

It has a double thread structure with a high thread and a low thread. This is a fastening structure that has been calculated in advance so that the female thread, formed by plastically deforming the resin, contacts the lower threads in the valleys of the higher threads and tightly adheres to the male thread without any gaps.

■A well-formed strong internal thread

Unlike conventional products, there are fewer cavities and gaps in the formed female thread, creating a strong female thread.

■High axial force, pull-out strength, and anti-loosening performance

Higher axial force, screw removal strength, and loosening performance than conventional products can be obtained. The ratio of screwing torque to breaking torque is large, allowing fastening with plenty of margin.

■High repeatability

Because it forms a solid internal thread, it has greater repeatability than conventional products.

■Improvement of fastening productivity

Due to the action of the double thread screw, it can be inserted straight without tilting. This is also effective for screwing at high rotation speeds and improves productivity.
