About This Product
Al Keeper is a high-strength, lightweight nut and collar made of aluminum alloy. Developed as a special part to reduce the weight of resin applications. Not only are they lightweight, but when molded into resin they stick very strongly, and their strength exceeds that of brass or steel nuts when pulled out or rotated. Alkeeper makes it possible to further reduce the weight of resin parts.

Product features
■Light made of aluminum alloy
We use 5052, A056, and A7075 as standard materials and make proposals according to the required strength and cost. Of course, other aluminum materials are also supported. In particular, A6056 is a safe and secure high-strength material with a proven track record for automotive bolts.
■High strength 10.9 bolt breaks male thread
If insert injection molding is performed on a material such as PA66 GF-30, and a steel bolt with a strength class of 10.9 is continuously screwed in and the failure mode is checked, the bolt will fail with a strength class of 10.9. It can be said that the adhesion to the resin and the strength of the nut itself are sufficient.
■From inserts to outserts
We offer a variety of shapes depending on the molding method, from insert molding such as injection molding and SMC to outsert to boss. For outserts, we mainly use ultrasonic press fitting, heat press fitting, screw insertion, etc.
■Compatible with thermoplastic and thermosetting resins
We can handle not only PP and PA but also materials containing glass fiber and carbon fiber. We also offer shapes that can be outsert into extremely hard materials such as epoxy resin.
■Non-magnetic
Since it is made of aluminum alloy, it is not affected by magnetic lines of force. When used in combination with aluminum bolts, it can be effectively used in products that require consideration of the effects of magnetic field lines, such as various sensors and medical equipment.
