About This Product

This product is a PCI bus compliant interface board that complies with IEEE-488.1 and IEEE-488.2 and is equipped with a bus master transfer function. You can use a computer to control communications for various devices with GPIB interfaces and read GPIB bus line data. GP-IB (PCI) F can also use the on-board memory to analyze signals flowing through the GPIB bus (GPIB bus analyzer function). A device driver compatible with Windows/LabVIEW is available. Features

■GPIB communication compliant with IEEE-488.1/488.2, communication possible at maximum 1.5Mbyte/sec

It can communicate with various devices compliant with IEEE-488.1/488.2 standards at a transfer rate of up to 1.5 Mbyte/sec. Master (controller) and slave settings are possible.

■Equipped with bus master transfer function

Bus master transfer allows large amounts of data to be transferred between the computer and the board without putting a load on the CPU.

■Equipped with FIFO for sending 2Kbyte and receiving 2Kbyte

Equipped with a 2Kbyte FIFO each for data transmission and reception, allowing high-speed communication of small to large amounts of data. FIFO can also be used for interface messages, allowing them to be sent at high speed.

■Equipped with a high-speed GPIB controller that was developed in-house and can be stably supplied.

Equipped with an in-house developed high-speed GPIB controller (compatible with μPD7210 registers), ensuring stable supply.

■SPAS event function installed (when slave)

In addition to the functions of the conventional GPIB controller (μPD7210), it is equipped with an event (SPAS) when a serial poll is performed. This allows for highly flexible system construction.

■Providing support software compatible with Windows/LabVIEW

By using the support software provided on our website, you can create Windows/LabVIEW applications. We also provide a diagnostic program that allows you to check hardware operation and perform simple communication tests with connected devices.
