About This Product

This product is an isolated PCI Express bus compatible board that extends RS-232C compliant serial communication functionality to your computer. COM-2PC-PE is equipped with 2 channels of RS-232C compliant COM ports. Noise resistance is strengthened by insulating the bus lines between each channel and from the computer, and by incorporating a surge protection circuit into the communication port. Each channel is equipped with a 128-byte FIFO buffer for transmission and reception, and supports baud rates up to 921,600bps. Drivers compatible with Windows/Linux are available. Features

■RS-232C serial communication, supports up to 921,600bps

The COM port of this product supports up to 921,600bps. COM-2PC-PE is equipped with 2 channels of RS-232C compliant COM ports.

■Can be used as a standard COM port with Windows/Linux driver

By combining it with our device driver COM-DRV, it can be used in the same way as a COM port on a personal computer. It supports communication using DCB structure in Win32 API and Linux standard system calls. We also provide a diagnostic program that allows you to check hardware operation and test communication with equipment.

■Up to 16 boards can be added

Up to 16 boards of the same model can be installed on one computer.

■Equipped with buffer memory of 128 bytes for sending and 128 bytes for receiving on each channel.

Each channel is equipped with a buffer memory of 128 bytes for sending and 128 bytes for receiving. The buffer memory is in FIFO format, which is useful for high-speed communication and reducing the CPU load when transmitting and receiving data.
