About This Product

This product is a PCI Express bus compliant counter input board that inputs and counts pulse signals from external devices. It is equipped with 8 channels of 32-bit up/down counters, and the bus master transfer function allows high-speed data transfer with high-speed pulse input (non-isolated TTL level, differential) up to 10MHz. It can also count two-phase and single-phase signals such as rotary encoders and linear scales. A Windows version driver library is included, allowing you to create applications that take advantage of the features of our hardware. Features

■32-bit up/down counter 8ch, high-speed 10MHz pulse input, disconnection detection possible

Equipped with 8 channels of 32-bit up/down counters on one board, high-speed pulse input up to 10MHz (non-isolated TTL level, differential) is possible, and disconnection detection can be performed during differential input. It can count two-phase and single-phase signals. A protection element is mounted on the input circuit to achieve surge protection. In addition, it is equipped with 1 control input signal per channel, and can be used as counter start/stop, preset, zero clear, and general purpose input.

■Equipped with bus master transfer function

Bus master transfer allows large amounts of data to be transferred without putting a load on the CPU.

■Equipped with a digital filter function that prevents incorrect recognition of input signals due to noise.

Equipped with a digital filter that can prevent noise in counter input signals (A phase, B phase, Z phase) and control input signals. The digital filter is unused or can be set by software in the range of 0.1μ - 1.6384msec. Note that all of these input signals pass through a digital filter and are captured into the internal counter, so if a digital filter is used, they will be captured with a delay of the set time.

■Equipped with synchronous control connector

Equipped with a synchronous control connector that allows up to 16 boards to operate synchronously. In addition, synchronous operation with our boards equipped with a synchronous control connector can be easily realized.

■Function and connector compatible with PCI compatible board CNT32-8M (PCI)

It has the same functions as the PCI board CNT32-8M (PCI). Furthermore, the connector shape and signal placement are compatible, making it easy to migrate from previous systems.
