About This Product

Prevents defects during assembly by allowing tools to be used only at the correct bolt tightening position

■Summary

Industrial Location SpotPoint is Atlas Copco's first bolt-level wireless fastening position assurance system. Uses camera vision technology to know the exact location of tools during work. ILS (IndustrialLocationSpotPoint) consists of two main parts: a sensor and a tag. The sensor is an all-in-one device that includes a vision system and a processor. The tag is mounted on the tool so that the sensor can track its location. ILS is a system developed to reduce tightening defects during assembly processes. The assembly defect prevention system ensures that the correct bolts are tightened (torque etc.) correctly.
