■System control

Harsh production environments, where adhesive systems operate 24/7, demand high-quality, easy-to-use systems. The SYS6000 from the Atlas Copco SCA product line is suitable for final assembly. The ability to connect high-precision electric shot meters, basic air meters or endless dispensing flowmeters allows for a wide range of applications. For easier operation, the microcontroller-based SYS6000 can be used not only from mobile devices and remote panels, but also from a web interface that can be accessed from a browser.

■Weighing system

When using two-component adhesives for glass installation, two instruments are used. The principal components are applied using a large volumetric flow meter. Here, we are using our ADE6000 series 700ccm. The size of the second meter depends on the mixing ratio. Although 60ccm of the ADKE6000 series is often used, 10/20ccm is sometimes used. The electric ADE/ADKE6000 shot meter is versatile and works best with the SYS6000 portion control device. Heavy-duty construction for long life, easy installation and maintenance, and a single hybrid cable connection. Another advantage of this product is its high precision control of ±1%. The 6000 Series is available in multiple versions with up to six heating zones to meet diverse application requirements, including cold/heated dispensing.
