About This Product

■SPR die design and manufacturing

Atlas Copco's state-of-the-art rivet manufacturing facility allows us to produce a wide range of dies to accommodate all your new joints.

■EHG die

・Die shape: dish shape ・Available rivet diameter: 3 or 5mm ・Die depth type: limited ・Note: This is the die with the largest corner radius and is useful for very low ductility materials such as die casting materials. However, care must be taken as this increases the load on the rivets.

■DC die

・Die shape: flat bottom, large corner radius ・Usable rivet diameter: 5mm ・Die depth type: limited ・Memo: This is a type of die with a larger corner radius than the DG die, and is useful for joining materials with relatively low ductility.

■DG die

・Die shape: flat bottom ・Available rivet diameter: 3 or 5mm ・Die depth types: Wide range ・Note: Flat bottom shape, very common, widely used in many materials in various industries.

■DP die

・Die shape: Shape with a dome-shaped protrusion at the center of the die ・Available rivet diameter: 3 or 5mm ・Die depth types: Wide range ・Memo: A DP die with a dome-shaped protrusion is used instead of a BG die when you want to widen the legs of the rivet. It is widely used for joining thick aluminum materials.

■DR die

・Die shape: Deep die with protrusions deep inside. ・Available rivet diameter: 3 or 5mm ・Die depth type: limited ・Memo: This die has a protrusion higher than the DP die and lower than the DZ die, and is used when you want to spread the rivet foot wider.

■DY die

・Die shape: Shape with a small protrusion at the bottom of the die ・Rivet diameter: 3mm ・Type of die depth: Extremely limited ・Memo: A die with a small diameter and a small protrusion on the bottom, useful for joining extremely thin materials.

■DT die

・Die shape: gentle small protrusion ・Rivet diameter: 3mm ・Type of die depth: Extremely limited ・Memo: A die that is larger than the DY die, but has a small protrusion. Useful for joining thin materials

■DZ die

・Die shape: high protrusion ・Available rivet diameter: 3 or 5mm ・Die depth type: Medium ・Memo: Shape with the highest protrusion, spread the rivet feet. Widely used in automotive industry
