■Henrob SPR joining solution ideal for mass production

Tape feed self-piercing rivet setter that can be mounted on a robot or fixed stationary.

■Henrob SPR rivet setter (tape feed system)

Self-piercing rivet setting systems are a reliable, robust and cost-effective method of automatically feeding fasteners and are used in high volume production on automated production lines. Among them, the tape feed system is the fastest way to feed rivets to the rivet setter. The cycle time from driving one rivet to feeding the next rivet is only 1.2 seconds, compared to the 3 to 4 seconds required by traditional blow-feed systems. This system is ideal for joining automobile body frames and pillars, white body production such as doors and hoods, and additional equipment such as sunroofs.
