About This Product

For applications that require insulation and high airtightness Insulated pipes (insulated tubes) are made of ceramic pipes (ceramic tubes) with cylindrical metals hermetically sealed at both ends. This is an insulated pipe used in environments where heat resistance and corrosion resistance are required. Ceramic pipe and cylindrical metal are joined by metallization. Insulated pipe for liquid ■Developed bonding technology that overcomes thermal stress ・We have developed a flat insulated pipe with no gaps or steps at the joints. -With no gaps or steps, it is difficult for liquid to accumulate and has a structure that is resistant to corrosion. - With conventional insulated pipes, cracks occur in the ceramic when joined due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between ceramic and metal, so it was necessary to provide a space. As a measure to alleviate this thermal stress, we reviewed (1) the shape of the metal fittings, (2) the brazing method, and (3) the alumina content, and established a structure and bonding method that is less susceptible to thermal stress. ■Particularly suitable for cooling piping that uses pure water as a refrigerant. Kawaso Texel's metallization (fused titanium method) has excellent corrosion resistance against pure water and can be used as pure water piping. ■Application examples ・Large accelerator electromagnet cooling piping ・Liquid helium piping etc... ■Standard specification product Insulation resistance (MΩ): 1,000 or more (atDC500V) Airtightness: 1x10-10Pa・m3/sec ■Gas insulation pipe (straight) It has been used in various applications for passing gas, and there is a lineup of standard products. When using liquids, we recommend liquid insulated pipes with higher corrosion resistance. ■Excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance Insulated pipes bonded by metallization maintain high airtightness even in high and low temperature environments.
