Explosion isolation valve VIGIFLAP

■Applications

VIGIFLAP is a check valve, usually opened by a lever arm, to prevent overpressure or flame propagation through the pipework due to an explosion in downstream equipment (dust collectors, baghouses, cyclones, etc.) maintained in the state. It can be installed on both the intake and exhaust sides of equipment such as bag filters, and isolates explosions or excess pressure from equipment such as bag filters. In the event of an explosion, the flap valve closes and remains locked, preventing the passage of flame. The flaps are unlocked manually.

■Standard specifications

・Main body material/Surface treatment: Carbon steel/Painting ・Flap: Circular dome-shaped flap, fully made of stainless steel ・Diameter: 160mm ~ 800mm ・Frame part EPDM gasket: 80℃ ・Flange: Flange design compliant with ISO and ANSI ・Rupture sensor: A sensor that detects closure in the event of an explosion or overpressure.
