■Structure
The flange of the union nut is knurled, and when the union nut is inserted into a workpiece and struck with a hammer, the knurled part bites into the hole in the workpiece, resulting in the initial tightening of the wrench. Prevents rotation. The outer diameter of the sleeve is also machined with a small knurling, which prevents the sleeve from rotating in tandem.
In this state, when the bolt is inserted and tightened, the spacer moves to the tapered part of the flange, and is finally fixed to the workpiece.
■Mechanical properties
- When struck with a hammer, the knurled part digs into the hole in the base material, preventing synchronization during the initial tightening of the wrench.
- Small knurling is also applied to the outer diameter of the sleeve to prevent rotation of the sleeve. In this state, when the bolt is inserted and tightened, the spacer moves along the tapered part of the flange, and is finally fixed to the base material.
