A high-end model of a buried cable/piping search device that comes standard with GPS, current direction indicating function, and high output transmission.
■Product features
Quickly locate buried objects using arrows and a compass. Large arrows and compass on the screen allow you to measure the direction and exact location of buried objects. If the screen displays → ←, it means that you are directly above the object. Identify only the cable you want to search based on the direction of the flowing signal. It identifies only the unique signal emitted from the transmitter and accurately detects only the target line.
■RD8200SG (machine equipped with high-precision GPS) is also available
- Built-in GPS that is more precise than a smartphone. Very useful when recording the location of buried piping.
-Real-time location recording using free GPS software.
・The accuracy of identifying the location of buried cables is as high as the previous model.
- Boasts a maximum positional accuracy of ±5cm.

Search method
■Transmission method 1: Direct method
Connect the included clip on the transmitter to the target cable and ground. Transmission method that provides the greatest search distance.
■Transmission method 2: Induction method
When it is not possible to connect directly with a clip, a method is used to place a transmitter directly above the cable or metal tube you want to detect and send a guided signal to detect it without contact.
■Transmission method 3: Natural wave method
A search method in which natural magnetic fields generated from high-voltage lines, communication lines, radio waves, etc. are guided into buried metal pipes and cables, and the magnetic fields propagated through the buried objects are detected.
■Transmission method 4: Clamp method
A simple transmission method for clamping purpose cables or multiple cables together. Signals can be easily and safely sent to live cables.
■Transmission method 5: Sonde detection method
A search method that detects buried locations by receiving signals from a sonde (transmitter) inserted into a pipe with a receiver on the ground. Maximum depth 20m.
■Current direction indication function (CD)
A method of receiving a unidirectional signal from a transmitter and identifying and searching only the target line from a large number of cables based on the direction of the arrow displayed on the receiver.
