About This Product
EDI has cation exchange membranes and anion exchange membranes installed alternately, and ion exchange resin is filled between the membranes. By applying DC voltage to the electrodes installed at both ends while water is flowing, unnecessary ions contained in the supplied water move along the resin to the concentration chamber, and are eventually discharged from the system. As a result, unnecessary ions are removed from the feed water and deionized water (purified water) can be obtained.
The filled ion-exchange resin is constantly regenerated by DC voltage while collecting water.
Until now, chemical regeneration type water deionization equipment required dangerous chemicals (hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide), but by using the EDI stack, chemicals are no longer required and the equipment is easy to manage. .
■Recycle chemical solution (hazardous material) No storage equipment or neutralization drainage equipment required
Since the resin is continuously regenerated while drawing water using DC voltage, the chemical equipment required for regeneration of chemical regeneration pure water equipment is no longer required, making it easier for chemical (hazardous materials) managers and the fire department. No notification or safety measures are required.
■Continuous water sampling operation possible
Depending on the pre-treatment RO device process, since regeneration occurs at the same time as water flow, it is possible to continuously produce highly purified purified water day and night.
■Process management according to production schedule
The start time of the sterilization process required for equipment maintenance and management can be set according to the production schedule.
