By automating brushing by sensing filtration pressure (optional), unmanned operation is possible, making the most of the features of the device and maximizing labor savings.
Inside the filter, six Cerapores are arranged around the cleaning brush. By rotating the cleaning brush and Cerapore, the surface layer of the Cerapore that is causing clogging is scraped off, unclogging the Cerapore and restoring its filtration ability. Brushing time is 1 to 3 minutes at a time, and if you brush once a day, you can use the Cerapore for about 150 to 200 days without needing to replace it at all.
*The brushing time required for recovery varies depending on the nature of the stock solution and the clogging situation, so the number of times it can be recovered will also change accordingly. The S81 is equipped with one set of these six Cerapores, the S83 is equipped with three sets, and the S86 is equipped with six sets.
■Applications and application examples
It is used in a wide variety of applications, including beverages, cosmetics, seasonings, alcoholic beverages, extracts, fruit juices, city water, and factory water. In particular, it exhibits excellent performance in filtration of microbial culture fluids that require control of the number of bacteria such as bio and enzymes, and has been installed in many cases.
By introducing Cerapore filtration machines as pre-treatment for membrane filters and RO membranes, the lifespan of membrane filters and other equipment is dramatically extended, contributing to lower running costs.
