About This Product
Soft ceramic filter that can be recycled by brushing, is environmentally friendly, and is highly economical.
This is a soft ceramic filter that uses diatomaceous earth as its main raw material and is fired at a high temperature using a special process. It has a high level of filtration accuracy for sterilization. A cartridge filter type that can be used repeatedly. Therefore, there is less waste and costs are lower. (When clogging occurs, filtration performance can be easily restored by brushing the surface.)
■High-precision filtration at sterilization level
Cerapore is a depth filter, and its thickness allows for more precise filtration. Very suitable for removing microorganisms from liquids.
■Filtration of highly suspensible liquids
Cerapore is suitable for liquids that are relatively viscous and difficult to filter, such as concentrated liquids, oils, and sugar solutions. Even liquids that are difficult to filter with membranes can be filtered efficiently depending on the conditions.
■Compatible with acidic liquids
Depending on the purpose of use, you can also use acid-resistant Cerapore, which is suitable for acidic liquids (pH 2.5~). For example, when you want to concentrate citric acid etc. in beverage production, you use acid-resistant Cerapore. Cerapore uses an external pressure filtration method, as shown in the diagram below, where liquid permeates from the outside of Cerapore to the inside, and impurities are removed by passing through the Cerapore layer.
Even if Cerapore becomes clogged, if you brush the surface and clean it, the surface layer of Cerapore clogged with impurities will be scraped off and a new filtration surface will appear, restoring filtration performance. The automatic brushing mechanism can be used repeatedly by brushing approximately 200 times.
Cerapore is classified into different grades according to shape and filtration accuracy to suit each filtration machine. There is also an activated carbon type with enhanced adsorption power and an acid-resistant type suitable for acidic liquids.
