About This Product
■What is ISO flange?
MF flanges according to ISO1609 are connected using claw clamps, and are used to absorb errors during assembly and improve workability. In addition, by using a single claw clamp, you can connect the piping flange directly to the vacuum chamber, which can be used as an item to reduce the number of parts and save space.
MF is an abbreviation for "Multi Fastener", and the name comes from the fact that multiple claw clamps are used to fasten flanges. On the other hand, European companies add the symbol “K” to ISO-K, but two of these companies are manufacturers in countries where German is the main official language, so considering that, this We can guess that “K” stands for “Klampe”.
However, both "MF" and "K" are just names used independently by a few specific manufacturers, and honestly cannot be said to be common names. (Multiple references cited)
■About the material
The basic material is SUS304. We also handle SUS316L products.
*For overseas products, we use materials that comply with Japanese standards.
■About leak inspection
All products with welded structures (pipes, adapters, etc.) undergo He leak tests (10^-9Pa･m2/sec or less).
■About seal surface protection
A protective cap is attached to the flange to protect the sealing surface. We also sell protective caps separately.
