About This Product

The crack of brown rice is an important indicator that affects not only the greasy yield, but also the taste, appearance when cooking rice, and quality to mochi after processing. Although the torso grains of Uruchi brown rice can be identified visually, it is difficult to identify the mochi brown rice because it does not transmit light and is cloudy, so it was generally necessary to determine it after doing it. In this instrument, by applying a wavelength of 500 to 750 nm for each mochi brown rice, it is now possible to visualize the torso grain that was difficult. If you look through the loupe with the main unit, it is obvious at a glance, and it can be easily determined. In addition, this instrument is a joint -developed product with the Agricultural Research Institute of Agricultural Organization.

■ Principles

-The light irradiated from the bottom of the instrument proceeds in the vertical direction of the cracked surface by prism. ･ The diffusion reflex is reflected in the cracked section, and the cross section looks like a muscle. ･ It is easy to determine through the loupe equipped with this instrument.

■ Functional

･ When the sample tray is placed, the LED will automatically light up. ･ The light volume adjustment on the side of the main unit can adjust the brightness of the LED.
